Michael McIver
Michael McIver is a graduate of SHSU. In 1983, McIver and his brother established the James M. McIver Memorial Golf Scholarship Endowment in memory of their father, the university's first scholarship endowment created for the golf program. A native of Madisonville, McIver, a Texas real estate executive and former Bearkat golfer, donated the funds to construct the McIver Golf Training Facility at Raven Nest Golf Club.
