The Sally M. (Simms) Elkins House was located at the southwest corner of Avenue J and 13th Street. It was used as a boarding house for students [1] and later known as the Peter's Hotel [2].

The house was demolished c.1964 [2]; the site is now owned by the university and buildings on the grounds have been used for varying purposes, including the Bearkitten childcare center.
