It’s probably excessive but our daytrips to Huntsville usually bring in upwards of 700 photographs for potential use on the site (256 in 2006, 783 in 2007, and 759 in 2011). It goes without saying that not every photograph is used on the site, and then not every picture is worth keeping, either – there’s always a handful that are slightly out of focus or have contrast issues. Others are just banal minutia that aren’t given a second thought. One might call them a waste of space but I suppose they capture for posterity the campus as it was on that random Spring day. Whatever.
Collected below are photographs that didn’t make it elsewhere on the site for various reasons. Some are random campus flora and fauna, and some are taken from elsewhere around Huntsville. Some are travelogues of our seemingly never-ending walk around campus, and some…well, some are just nonsense. |
