College of Business Administration
The Smith-Hutson Business Administration Building is on the east-central side of campus at what used to be the intersection of Nineteenth Street and Avenue I.

Opening as the Business and Economics Building, in 2003 the Board of Regents approved plans for renovations and an addition to the building at an estimated cost of $8.3 million. Construction was completed two years later and dedicated in 2005.

Before the Business and Economics Building - and before the Lowman Student Center - the eastern edge of campus ended with various housing units along Avenue I.
The Math/Foreign Languages, Business Administration, and Library buildings were built during President Arleigh Templeton's tenure, pushing the boarders of the campus further east.
