The small houses of Three East were some of the first university housing east of Avenue I.
If you squint your eyes just right, the small blobs on the north side of the building form the letters ROTC.  Impress your friends with that trick, why don’t you?
In the Residence Life naming system, Randel is part of Three East.

Randel House

Randel House is one of three small houses located in the south central part of campus at the intersection of Avenue I and Bowers Boulevard.

During the 1980s the house served as temporary headquarters for ROTC Administration.  Signage on the side of the building can still be seen from this former occupant.

Since the 2002-03 school year the house has been used for participation in the Bearkat Learning Community.
