The Rix Efficiency Apartment Building was a two-story dormitory in the central part of campus. It was one of five individual housing units constructed on what was the then-eastern border of the campus along Avenue I. It was located between the Houston and Wilson apartment buidings.
With the need for more academic classroom space, the apartments were demolished in the early 1980s to make room for the General Purpose Classroom building and mall area.
