The building located at the intersection of Avenue J and Seventeenth Street has undergone many renovations.
Maps from the early 1980s identify it as home of the alumni office. During the early 1990s it was the Kampus Korner bookstore.
After some extensive remodeling it became the University Advancement Cesnter and the home of the Department of Public Relations. In 2004 the building changed occupants and names when Residence Life moved here from Gidley House. In 2011, Residence Life moved to a permanent location within Lone Star Hall.
In Spring 2012 it became home of SHSU Online and the Distance Education and Learning Technologies for Academics (or DELTA) Center.
