McCray House was a student residence located south of 21st Street along the east side of Avenue I.

Residence Life classified the two-story, 8,161-square-foot small house as a part of the "The Valley"; it was formerly classified as part of "Four South" and "South Central." The house was identified as one of the Men's Cooperative Homes when its honorary name was approved by the Board of Regents [1].

McCray served as the Region VI Education Service Center, as evidenced by the fading white lettered sign painted on the front of the building. Following this, the building reverted to student housing.

The February 2005 assembly of the Board of Regents approved the demolition of McCray and Aydelotte houses. A new housing unit, Raven Village, was constructed on this site in 2006.
