Ina May Ogletree McAdams was a SHSU benefactor.

Ogletree married Kelly McAdams in 1928.

With her husband, they wrote The Building of Longwood (1972), about the Natchez, Mississippi mansion they purchased and preserved, and The McAdams family of Walker County, Texas (1985), detailing the history of the Walker County McAdams family. The McAdams Tennis Center is named in their honor.
