The Industrial Education Laboratory was a structure southwest of main campus at the corner of Avenue M and 22nd Street. It was originally one of four structures built for the Josey School of Vocational Education, a post-WWII program initiated by the university.

The building contained classrooms and offices as well as the university's wood, electricity, and, later, plastic laboratories. A circa-1969 campus map identified the structure as the Industrial Arts Wood and Electricity Lab (abbreviated "IAS"); it was more commonly referred to simply as the Wood Lab in later years.

The 1982 Campus Master Plan says S.I. Morris Associates of Houston renovated the building in the early 1980s, updating the roof, ceilings, other structural areas, and making the building better accessible for the handicap [1]. Updates were also made to the Agriculture Farm Shop at this time.

It was demolished in the early 2000s; its functional successor was the Industrial Technology Building, located west of the razed property.
