Houston House

Houston House is one of the eight houses on Sorority Hill, located on the north side of campus.

The building originally housed members of the Loulie Estill Society, a literary society that began in 1939. The group existed until they aligned with Kappa Delta in 1959. When the sorority dissolved years later, the house was named to honor Margaret Houston - making it the first of two houses on the Hill to carry her name.
