Elizabeth ("Lizzie") Wislon (L.W.) Elliott was a Dean of Women, preceptress, and teacher of English from 1881 to 1918. After teaching she moved to South Carolina. Elliott was related to President Woodrow Wilson. Elliott Hall, a dormitory, was named in her honor.
