Randel House is located at the northeastern corner of Avenue I and Bowers Boulevard in south-central campus. In the Residence Life naming system Randel and the three surrounding small houses were classified as "Three East."

The Department of Military Science moved to Randel House following the 1982 fire that severely damaged the Austin College Building [1]; signage on the front and side of the building can still be seen from this former occupant. ROTC offices eventually moved to Academic Building Three.

Since the 2002-03 school year the house has been used for participation in the Bearkat Learning Community.

Randel House The houses of Three East were some of the first residences built east of Avenue I. A map from the late-1960s indicates that 20th Street originally ran north of the buildings (in front of Randel House).
