The Colony was an apartment complex on the eastern edge of campus along Avenue H, consisting of ten housing units (buildings A-J) and one office/recreation building.

In decades past, Colony was one of the most popular places to live on campus, with upperclassmen signing waiting lists semesters in advance to get a chance to live there. With the demolition of the Gintz Family Apartments, the Colony units and surrounding grounds were refurbished to become the university's only family housing location.

Due to their age and poor condition, the Colony Apartments were razed in 2007 and the property converted to a parking lot.
