Aydelotte House was located on Avenue I on the south side of campus. In the Residence Life naming system, Aydelotte and the surrounding small houses were classified as "Four South," and then later as "The Valley."
The house was identified as one of the Men's Cooperative Homes when its honorary name was approved by the Board of Regents [1].
The Sigma Mu Zeta chapter of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity chapter lived here for a number of years before the house reverted to general upperclassmen housing.
The February 2005 assembly of the Board of Regents approved the demolition of Aydelotte and McCray houses and the eventual construction of Raven Village.

In March 2005, Aydelotte House stands alone in preparation for its eventual demolition later that year. This is also the only remaining photograph of the seldom-seen "rear entrance" of the structure (tell your friends). |

In the mid-2000s, the remaining campus housing along Avenue I was leveled in preparation for Raven Village. |
