The Art Complex is located at the southwest section of campus at the intersection of Sam Houston Avenue and 21st Avenue. The Department of Art utilizes seven buildings:
While Building B is the oldest, Building C appears to be the first used for art classes following the department’s move from other temporary locations around campus such as Art Studio I and Studio II. Building F became part of the Art complex in the early 90s, around the time Buildings D and E were built.
In 2009 it was announced that the buildings were on the demolition schedule as part of the 2008 Campus Master Plan [1, 2].
