Bobby K. Marks
Bobby Kees Marks served twice as interim president and later as the eleventh president (1995-2001).

Marks came to SHSTC in 1960 as an instructor of management, teaching in the same building that would be named in his honor 41 years later. In addition, he served as dean of the College of Business Administration and vice-president for academic affairs.

Named President Emeritus upon his retirement, the 85-year-old Administration Building was renamed in his honor. A portion of Avenue H between 15th Street and Avenue I, on the eastern edge of the campus, was renamed Bobby K. Marks Drive. A section of University Avenue is also named Bob and Colleen Marks Boulevard.
