Loulie Sexton Estill taught at the Masonic Academy in Marshall, Texas. In Huntsville, Estill taught music and literature from 1887 to 1892; in August of that year she married
Harry Estill, with whom she had five children.
The Loulie Estill Society was named in her honor; the Kappa Delta sorority grew out of this early-1900s organization. A dormitory on the north side of campus was also named in her honor.
